Club hours 7:15am-9am & 2:45pm-6pm, Monday to Friday term time plus 7:15am-6pm during holidays
This is a casual contract commencing as soon as possible
Grade 3 SCP 4-5 (£24,404 - £24,760 pro rata)

The Governors of Croft Primary School wish to appoint a Wrap-Around and/or Holiday Club Playworker.
Responsible to: Wrap Around and Holiday Club Manager and Head Teacher
Skills and experience:
- Have a Level 2 qualification in Play work, Childcare or a related field (or a willingness to work towards it)
- Enjoy engaging with young children to deliver high quality play
- Have experience of working with children
- Have an understanding of how children develop and learn
- Be willing to learn and develop with the support of our experienced staff team
- Be an excellent communicator with adults and children alike
- Be flexible and able to adapt to different situations
- Be organised and able to work well as part of a team

We have been managing our own Wrap-Around and Holiday Club Care provision for a number of years.
The club runs daily, providing childcare Monday to Friday from 7:15am-9am and 2:45pm-6pm during term-time and 7:15am-6pm during holidays and offers a range of play based activities for the children to participate in.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Wrap-Around and Holiday Club Manager assisting with the day-to-day activities, liaising with parents and helping with the preparation of food for the children.
